Utah

I took a road trip here going through Zion and Bryce Canyon national parks. The views here are unlike anything I've seen before. We hiked every day and were exhausted by the end.

what to know

where to stay

Zion - Zion Ponderosa Lodge - we stayed in the Deluxe Glamping area, but there are 7 different accomodation types to choose from. This place had even more ammenities than we expected included a free made-to-order breakfast, pools and hot tubs, mini golf, bbq, etc.

We camped one night on a private ranch with amazing sweeping views of the Zion red rocks. This place only had porta potties and no water, but there was no one else around and the views made it worth it.

Bryce Canyon - There aren't too many options as far as close lodging goes here. We stayed in a Ruby's historic hotel which is now a Best Western. It still had it's country cabin charm, but with modern conveniences.
